Winter strips us naked



Winter strips us naked.
We have no leaves to protect us from the sky.
Our roots struggle to hold on to the sodden earth.
And when storms come
some of us fall.

  2. delayed reaction ...yes, nice is a rubbish word, and perhaps I meant that I like it because it's 'moving', or rather it moves something in me. Oh dear, better stop before i dig a deeper hole!
